Our Holiday Cottages
Our four holiday cottages, sleeping between five and two and arranged on two sides of a charming courtyard, offer an
excellent standard of self catering holiday accommodation.
Located midway between Pickering and Scarborough on the southern edge of the North York Moors, and just 30 miles
from York, Sawdon Country Cottages are perfectly located for holidays in North Yorkshire.
Sawdon has an excellent village pub and restaurant within easy walking distance, and there are other good
restaurants available locally. Golf and tennis are both available in the village.
- We are open all year.
- Our cottages have each attained an English Tourism Council 4 Stars Grading.
- The cottages share a private garden, complete with garden furniture and barbecue, overlooking Sawdon Dale.
- Each cottage has a fully equipped, modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven, fridge
freezer, ironing board and iron.
- The cottages all have full central heating (night storage heaters in Middle House). They each also have a log
burning stove, with logs provided free of charge.
- All bed linen, duvets, towels and tea towels are provided.
- Middle House has its own laundry room. The other three cottages share a washing machine and tumble drier.
- All cottages are equipped with radio / cd / tape players, digital television with dvd and vhs video players.
- The cottages are comfortably furnished with pictures and oriental rugs.
- All cottages have off street parking.
