learning to sail, windsurf or fish at Wykeham Lakes, 4 x 4 driving in the forest, or surfing at Cayton Bay.
For those who prefer sight-seeing, we are well located for visits to Castle Howard (the setting for Brideshead
Revisted); Scarborough seafront with its famous castle and donkey rides on the beach; Goathland (Heartbeat Country and
home of the Hogwart's Express); Scampston with its Millennium Garden; the beautiful Elizabethan house and garden at
Burton Agnes; the World War 2 museum at Eden Camp, near Malton; and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Pickering.
York, with its many attractions such as the Minster and the National Railway Museum, is only thirty miles away.
Children will especially enjoy Flamingo Park near Pickering and the Sea Life Centre in Scarborough.
We are open all year round. Come in spring or summer and go for long countryside walks in search of wild flowers
and birds and reward yourself at the end of the day with a barbeque and glass of wine in the garden; or come in autumn
or winter when you can rest and relax by a cosy log burning stove, go for brisk walks along the coast or tramp through
